Lindsey Monroe of Sherburne Inducted into National Honor Society

Lindsey Monroe of Sherburne was inducted into Psi Chi, the national honor society in psychology, on April 16 in a ceremony on the SUNYIT campus. Lindsey was one of 17 student inductees taking part in the annual event.

Founded more than 70 years ago, Psi Chi's purpose is to encourage, stimulate, and maintain excellence in scholarship, and advance the science of psychology. SUNYIT's Psi Chi chapter is one of more than 930 chapters on college and university campuses throughout the United States. Psi Chi inductees must be graduate or undergraduate students who are making the study of psychology one of their major interests and must meet the organization's qualifications.
