Jeffrey Albright Earns NEAC Scholar-Athlete Award

Jeffrey Albright, a Sophomore from New York Mills, NY, was among thirty-five SUNYIT student-athletes who were recognized by the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) with the conference's Scholar-Athlete award on Monday. Majoring in Civil Engineering Technology and playing on the Baseball Team, Albright helped the Wildcats more than double the school's scholar-athlete total from last year, in which SUNYIT had 16 NEAC Scholar-Athlete selections.

In order to be selected, a student-athlete must have achieved a combined grade point average of 3.4 or higher for the fall and spring semesters and must have been in good standing on his or her team. This year, the NEAC is honoring a total of 512 scholar-athletes from its 16 member institutions (3 associate) who represent 26 different states and 17 different countries.
